Indian State Bank and Reliance GO have started participation in digital payments by increasing participation. This will help the country's largest bank to increase the number of digital subscribers. Both SBI and Geo are already partners in the payment bank program.
Together with SBI and Geo, the Geo Payment Bank has been created. Geo has a 70% stake and the remaining 30% is owned by the Indian State Bank. However, its operation could not be started even after more than two years after the receipt of the license. State Bank Chairman Rajnish Kumar said in a joint statement that we are excited about partnership with Geo. Both are beneficial for all sectors and will make digital services for SBI customers better.
